I recently spent a few days at Alpina, and I'd like to share my thoughts, especially considering the blend of luxury and value that many travelers seek. The hotel is equipped with an impressively well-stocked kitchen, which is a significant advantage for a self-catering option. Having a personal space to prepare meals was a big hit for me, as it enhanced the experience of lounging on the terrace while enjoying the beautiful views. Room service was seamless, providing quality meals whenever I craved something without venturing out, saving time and effort during the busy ski season. The indoor swimming pool came in handy after long days on the slopes, ensuring relaxation when I returned. Regarding value, I found Alpina to strike a fair balance - while rates might lean towards the higher end, the accessibility to kitchen facilities, coupled with services like ski equipment hire and tour assistance, certainly enhanced the overall experience without feeling financially burdensome. It's worth considering, especially if you value flexibility over rigid dining options.
